Video Game Sales - Microsoft Entertainment Division Rise High As The Video Game Much Anticipated And Publicized.

Video Game Sales

Video Game Sales. Microsoft expects Halo 3 to make $ 150 million on September 25, 2007, the day it was released. However, numbers were met and exceeded many ambitious to please the people at Microsoft and Bungie Studios, the animation studio owned by their company.

When the first Halo video game Combat Evolved was released on 9 November 2001 immediately attracted the attention of people who play video games. It then went on to much greater success. Some video games like Halo 2 and list merchandise products such as action figures and comic books were created. They immediately embraced by legions of loyal fans, known as the Halo Nation. A cultural icon and a very large following were created with a futuristic video games, such as Star Trek and Star Wars franchises. Xbox 360 is the king of video game consoles and the Halo video game franchise was number one for a long time.

Video Game Sales. But things have changed for Microsoft since the PlayStation 3, PSP, and Nintendo Wii came out in the market. They offer a variety of games such as Call of Duty, Madden NFL 07, Twilight Princess and Tony Hawks Project 8 to name just a few. Latest video game consoles by Sony and Nintendo also offer great technological advances, and this has attracted the attention of video game customers who love innovation with video games and electronics. Especially the kind of innovation that makes it seem like you're actually in the game.

Video Game Sales. First of all, there are more methods give the game to the end user rather than being taken into account. There are new services such as Direct2Drive and Steam games that deliver directly to customers via download. This service makes buying a new game that is simpler and easier. You get the game directly via download and you do not have a CD or DVD that you may be worried about losing or breaking. You also do not need to go to the store and buy the game, taking time out of your day. It is far better to decide that you want to play and have a moment to enjoy.

Secondly, the console has more than caught up with the quality of PC games. Generally, game consoles behind in the quality of the game compared to the latest PC games. This is because PC gamers constantly upgraded their equipment, while the console is only made every 3 or 4 years. Finally, game console gaming is considered bad compared to what's new. The console currently offers nearly the same experience as a PC game. So many people have switched to the console platform, and it has taken a big bite out of sales of PC games.

The third problem is that people are tired of bugs and patches. For more than a few years, the latest PC titles have been found full of flaws and bugs. Many times in the first few months after release, there are a lot of patches to download. From day one, the new game is not a finished product or quality, which can weaken the buyer. When you pay a lot of money for a game, you expect it to work and work well from the moment you install it.

Unfortunately, this logic does not hold water in reality. Sales of Nintendo's more than 40% down, and it seems that there is a large migration to Microsoft's Xbox and this trend will continue. There will always be winners and losers, and the migration of market share to better products that consumers choose. However, as the whole thing finally goes south for a model called a recession proof business. Is there an upside?

Yes, as a matter of fact until this quarter things are fine, do not break speed records, but they do not fall off a cliff either, like so many other commercial sectors of our economy. Video games seem to be the last hit, and as such, it stands to reason that as the economy recovers they will be the first to recover it. Please consider all this and happy gaming.
